Guitar exploration has been Shane’s obsession for over 20 years of his life. He’s a rhythmic architect, always fusing fresh chords with bold strum techniques. The excellence of his musicianship is complimented by his lyrical prowess, obtaining a B.A. in Creative Writing in pursuit of his love for songwriting. His smooth and striking vocals create the perfect formula for a colorful solo set for any venue or event. He sets the mood with his style, complementing the atmosphere of any event - from cranking out dynamic sounds-by-the-pound to laying down the smoothest of syncopated silk. Shane’s passion for music is paralleled by his love for people. He truly seeks to not only entertain, but to interact with his listeners on a personal level. From hosting a major benefit concert for the children of Haiti, to holding various paid positions in musical leadership, Shane loves to use music as a tool to help heal a hurting world.
Shane’s music has landed him on many stages in various capacities. His repertoire encompasses his own innovative compositions; original takes on many popular covers; and heart-felt, Spirit-led worship. Shane is perfectly capable of filling a three-hour set with fresh music, and he especially loves the opportunity to facilitate extended times of worship.
Shane has toured extensively in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area in the past, and also performed at the Ichthus music festival in 2009 and opened for Jeremy Casella in 2013. His work has not been limited to the stage, though; Shane has already recorded five original albums. His first college band, The Nougat Café Band, produced four albums together while performing in the Lexington, Kentucky, area. His second college band, The Shane Tracy Project, released one EP as well. More recently he, Shane released the ground-breaking single “Here With Me” in 2014.
