Clint Gresham
BIO
Clint received his Bachelors degree in Entrepreneurial Management from the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University. While at TCU, Clint rose to the top as a core leader both on and off the field, being twice selected by Head Coach Gary Patterson, for the TCU Football leadership council. His leadership eventually caught the attention of Current Chancellor Victor Boschini, who requested him as the lone representative for the student body on the hiring committee for Former Athletic Director, Chris Del Conte. Who has since moved on to become the Athletic Director of The University of Texas at Austin.
After going un-drafted in 2010, Clint spent three months with the New Orleans Saints, competing for the starting role. After being released one day into training camp to make room for new draftees, he was picked up by the Seattle Seahawks the following day. From 2010-2015, he served as the long snapper for the Seattle Seahawks. Playing in 12 playoff games and two Super Bowls (XLVIII & XLIX).
In addition to excelling on the field, he was regarded as a leader of men, and an invaluable asset to the championship locker room. For years, Clint led meetings with his team mates on how to walk in true masculinity. Consistently exhorting them that to truly be the best in the world at their craft, one must pursue greatness in every area of life. Believing that to only excel as a football player, and neglect the rest of your being, would eventually create fragile manhood, and poor performance on the field. In addition to his work in the locker room, Clint also spent several years as a volunteer Young Life leader.
Clint always viewed his time in the National Football League as a platform to push others to discover their inherit greatness. During training camp of 2013, Clint had a vision for a video project investigating the ambition of excellence, both on, and off the field. He named the project “The Making of a Champion.” For months, Clint cast vision, filmed interviews, and assembled a team of over 250 people, all while in a heated battle for his position, during 12 hour work days. With the project complete, his team of volunteers passed out 28,000 copies of the film at the conclusion of the Seahawks Vs. Titans game on October 13, 2013. Little did Clint know, when he named the . project “The Making of a Champion,” six months later, the Seahawks would win their first World Championship in a landslide victory over the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XLVIII. Today, estimates of how many times the film has been viewed, are in the millions.
Clint is passionate about imparting the principles of success, grit, and resiliency, which he learned from the years he spent with one of the greatest coaches of all time, Pete Carroll. He believes developing healthy self-esteem is the most critical endeavor in anyones life, and wants to help everyone walk in “wholeness.” He defines “wholeness” as “giving up hope for a better past, relinquishing control for a perfect future, and choosing joy and courage, right where your feet are.”
When Clint is not traveling around the world as a speaker, writer, and thought leader, he loves being at home in Dallas TX with his bride Matti, and their German Shorthair Pointer, Bear.
